Terms of Service
Last updated: August 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kalora mobile application (the “Service”), provided by RiseGravity (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Kalora is a nutrition tracking app that lets you log meals and water, set targets, review analytics, and manage your data around a manual tracking day. Some features use artificial intelligence to estimate nutrition from text you provide.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your region) to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information when creating your account.
- Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- One account per person; accounts are not transferable.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service or its content, except where the law permits.
5. Free tier and limits
Kalora is currently free to use, with fair usage limits — for example, the AI meal feature currently includes 6 analyses per day. We may change limits or introduce paid features in the future; material changes will be communicated in the app with reasonable notice.
6. AI-generated estimates
Nutrition estimates produced by the AI feature are generated automatically from the text you provide and may be wrong or incomplete. You review and confirm every estimate before it is saved. Do not submit sensitive personal information in meal descriptions.
7. Health disclaimer
Kalora provides general nutrition tracking, not medical, dietary, or health advice. All values are estimates. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your diet or health, especially if you have a medical condition or a history of disordered eating.
8. Your content
You own the data you enter into Kalora. You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data (CSV/JSON) and delete it at any time.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, or circumvent usage limits or security measures;
- access other users’ data or attempt to do so;
- use automated systems to access the Service except through functionality we provide.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings → Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and liability limits) do so.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RiseGravity is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim (or, if the Service was free to you, zero). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notified in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — to be confirmed by RiseGravity], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
